What if spare change could help someone walk again? That question drives HumaniTill, a moving public campaign launched by TBWA\Sri Lanka in collaboration with Maliban and the Meththa Foundation. At its heart is a powerful idea transforming a simple donation box into a human-shaped installation with transparent prosthetic limbs. These figures are not just creative displays but emotional prompts that connect giving with visible, meaningful change.

The campaign debuted during the sacred Poson Poya period in Anuradhapura, where thousands of devotees visit holy sites like Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi and Ruwanwelisaya. Positioned within this spiritual setting, HumaniTill installations drew crowds who gave generously. What they contributed went directly toward funding prosthetic limbs for individuals who had lost mobility. So far, the campaign has funded three below-knee limbs, with a fourth one in progress.

The idea is rooted in empathy and accessibility. A prosthetic limb costs around sixty thousand rupees, and by focusing on below-knee designs, the campaign ensures that each rupee goes as far as possible. These are not just statistics they represent renewed independence for real people who now have the chance to walk, move, and live with dignity.

This project is not a one-time event. It is expanding across Sri Lanka, reaching new temples every month in line with Poya holidays. Each new location brings the message to a broader audience. Beyond temples, the team is working to bring HumaniTill installations into malls and high-traffic public areas, making it easier for everyday citizens to engage with the cause.

Renuka Marshall, Managing Director at TBWA\Sri Lanka, emphasized that HumaniTill is more than a campaign. It is a purpose-led movement that uses creativity not just to disrupt but to heal and connect. Chief Creative Officer Soruban Sivapatham added that this initiative blends culture, compassion, and storytelling to inspire real-world action.

In a world filled with noise, HumaniTill proves that quiet ideas can speak the loudest.
